Oh Savannah oh don't you cry for me....

We have a serious problem here. See this girl? She has decided she is not a fan of people (my Mom tells stories that I was the same way...I don't believe her). The problem is that she looks so dang cute in her ruffley socks, patent shoes, and bow and smiles... at a distance. People think they should hold her...but she thinks only her Mom should hold her. Then she turns into ANGRY baby and thinks she needs to yell until EVERYONE knows she is MAD. I think after this week they are sending around a petition to have us go inactive :)

Ashleigh use to be like that when she was in her first year of life. She would smile anf flirt from a distance, but no one but myself and her two grandmas' could touch her or she would have a horrific cry. It did not matter if it was a neighbor she saw everyday, a great-grandma or a stranger. Eventually, she grew out of it and now she is a big social butterfly. Now sometimes I wish for the happy medium.

Oh! I think it must be the pull of the moon or something! We left sacrament early for the first time ever today! Isaac was screaming at the top of his lungs throughout most of the meeting and I finally had it, was packing up, looked up and there was Steven walking down from the stand to "rescue" me...only it irritated and embarrassed me. Sigh. What do we do with these onry kids!?!

She's adorable, even when she's angry baby. Especially those shoes and ruffley socks.

I'm sure if she had her auntie around, she'd be cool as a cucumber.

Just bring her to me :) I'll take on any challenge!

My baby is the exact same! She gives everyone these cute smiles and then flips out when they try to hold her. She's even starting to do it to Shane! Heaven help us!

You really were exactly like that. People used to try to avoid making eye contact with me when I brought you to church. They didn't want me to corner them to hold you while I played the piano. If they smiled at you and made eye contact with me, then I knew I had my "babysitter" for the day. They didn't know yet.

I think it will be a fun story to tell her later. I love the picture of her sad face! Too funny!

The petitions to go inactive are not effective. I've found the petitions that include how humble you are and that you should be Bishop tend to allow the discrete inactivity much more easily.
