Opinions?

We are stumped on a name for this little lady. We always thought we would have all boys so I never thought about girl names. We like Savanah and Abigail BUT with Keaton I KNEW that was his name at about 5 mos. This one I am not so sure. Have you heard any good girl names lately?

P.S. Yes, Savannah after the movie Savannah Smiles (didn't you LOVE that movie? Did you know you can get it on DVD for 7.99! Amazon.com....gotta love it!)

I like Savannah and Abigail! I'm also really liking Brooke right now! I have a baby names book you can borrow if you want!

Either name would be cute, but sometimes you just have to see them and see which name fits before you decide.

I like Abigail better than Savannah, but I will love your little lady with any name.

My neighbor Audrey (my catering partner) just did a vote on her blog trying to choose between Savannah (from Savannah smiles) and Sydney. Funny you guys came up with the same thing for the same pregnancy. I like both. You know Abigail means maid right? I still like it.

That meaning was way back in the Brontes' time. I just thought it was interesting.

Love the name Savannah! It's unusual but not weird. :)

I'm still trying to convince Chad we need one more girl because I never got my Lucy. Honestly, if you name her Lucy than I 'll feel a lot better and Chad might decided not to have me locked up by the men in white coats. Love the movie Savanah smiles... I didn't think anyone remembered that show.
My Faves: Lucy, Ruby (stop laughing), Lily, Cindy (really, I like this and not because it's my mom... but I'd love to see the look on a few peoples faces if you announced it) and Jane.

Happy deciding!

I hate grammar mistakes. You press send and then chisel your name as an illiterate dork for all to see.

I will take the fact that you are considering Abigail as a good sign. Have you ever kind of liked a name but someone else with that name just kind of ruins it for you? ha ha ha. I always thought Abigail meant Fathers Joy or something like that. I think that is one of the reasons Scott liked it so much. Other than that you know I can’t be of much help but we were in the same boat when I was pregnant last time so I am not surprised this time. I think picking a girls name is harder.

I don't know how anyone decides on the name of their child before seeing their little face. I completely forgot about the movie Savannah Smiles...crazy! I'd go with that one, less common. Abigails are EVERYWHERE!

On our end, we knew the names we needed way in advance, like you did with Keaton. I thinking that I agree with everyone about waiting to see her. Maybe that will be the deciding factor. Savannah Smiles was one of my favorites growing up, although I don't know why. By the way, are Saturdays the best for a friendly game of raquetball. I was way excited to know that Lee wants to play. We'll be in touch!!
